The Safety Coordinator will:

  • Assist in pre planning for safety.
  • Ensure local and federal safety standards are met.
  • Purchase safety equipment when needed
  • Perform accident and near miss investigations.
  • Take 40 hours of training every year.
  • Provide safety training.
  • Work with subcontractors when needed.
  • Represent Crossland Construction during OSHA inspection.

Requirements

The Safety Coordinator must achieve OSHA trainer status, be flexible with a schedule an have excellent communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Safety and Safety training specifically regarding construction is preferred.
