Full Stack Developer
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on web application development experience to design, develop, and maintain business-critical applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), front-end development, and relational databases.
In this role, you will build and enhance database-driven applications, product catalog management systems, inventory tools, reporting platforms, and customer-facing web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure, scalable, and efficient solutions that support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP, Linux, Apache, and MySQL.
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Develop and maintain database-driven applications supporting product catalogs, inventory, and business operations.
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Write SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and reports to support business requirements.
- Build CRUD applications, automate workflows, and improve existing business processes.
- Integrate applications with third-party APIs and internal business systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and server-related issues.
- Support application deployments, upgrades, ongoing maintenance, and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and application improvements.
- Document technical specifications, application functionality, and development standards.
- Follow best practices for application security, performance, and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience developing and supporting web-based applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience working within a LAMP stack environment.
- Proficiency with MySQL and PostgreSQL, including SQL development and database design.
- Experience building and maintaining database-driven applications.
- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with product catalog management, inventory systems, or product information management applications.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
- Experience integrating applications with ERP, CRM, or warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience supporting e-commerce platforms or customer-facing applications.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap, AJAX, Postman, and Visual Studio Code.
- Knowledge of web application security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
