Apartment Maintenance Technician - $25–30/hr | Edwardsville, KS
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
We're hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to care for two well-maintained apartment communities in Edwardsville, KS. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work with experience in hands-on repair.
What You'll Do
- Handle routine and emergency maintenance requests
- Respond to resident work orders promptly and professionally
- Turn vacant units for new residents
- Perform HVAC service and repair
- Handle light plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs
- Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and flooring repairs
- Coordinate with outside vendors as needed
- Walk the property and post resident notices
- Keep accurate maintenance records
What We're Looking For
- Experience in residential/multi-family maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and drywall
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-starter who can manage a full workload independently
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Mist be able ot lift 50lbs or more regularly, comfortable on ladders
- Comfortable standing for long periods and frequest reaching and bending
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Own hand tools and reliable cell phone
Nice to Have
- HVAC or trade certification
- Construction/renovation background
- Experience with Rent Manager or similar property management software
Pay & Benefits
- $25–30/hour, based on experience
