Job Description CNC Maintenance Technician in Mesa, AZ — $30.00–$38.00/hr DOE, schedule confirmed with recruiter, temporary. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC production equipment.

ABOUT THE ROLE Production depends on machines that run accurately and reliably. Your job is to keep them that way.
Keep CNC machinery operating accurately and reliably through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, calibration, and repairs. Work with operators and production teams to identify equipment problems and coordinate downtime. Overtime may be required to meet production needs. Expect manual repair tasks, standing, bending, and lifting around CNC equipment; discuss the specific shift and handling demands with your recruiter before submission.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on CNC machines - Inspect machinery and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults - Calibrate and adjust equipment for accurate machining - Read technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams - Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and specialized diagnostic equipment - Record maintenance work, repairs, and adjustments - Coordinate maintenance schedules with production and supervisors - Guide machine operators on CNC equipment functions and safe use
WHAT YOU NEED - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven CNC mechanic or comparable equipment maintenance experience - Knowledge of CNC operation, maintenance, and repair techniques - Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams - Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues - Familiarity with CNC controls and programming languages - Ability to complete required background checks and drug tests
NICE TO HAVE - Technical certification in CNC maintenance or a related field - Aerospace manufacturing experience - Experience calibrating CNC equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Perform hands-on repair work, stand, bend, lift, and handle tools and machine components. Specific lifting weights and task demands will be discussed before submission.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Manufacturing environment around CNC machinery, moving equipment, and maintenance tools. PPE is required and provided, and all plant safety procedures apply.
