Director of IT Services

We are a growing skilled nursing organization committed to delivering high-quality care and operational excellence across our facilities. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a hands-on, strategic Director of IT to lead and support all aspects of our technology infrastructure.
Position Summary:
The Director of IT will be responsible for overseeing all technology functions across the organization. This role requires a leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational support. You will play a critical role in ensuring our systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with the needs of our clinical and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all IT operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities

Oversee network infrastructure, systems, hardware, and software performance

Ensure data security, HIPAA compliance, and risk mitigation across all platforms

Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting as needed

Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers

Develop and implement IT strategies that support organizational growth

Support EMR/EHR systems and integrations with other clinical and business platforms

Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices

Assist with budgeting, cost control, and technology investments

Train and support staff on IT systems and tools
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or skilled nursing

Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud-based systems

Experience with healthcare systems (EHR/EMR) and regulatory compliance (HIPAA)

Proven ability to manage vendors and multiple projects simultaneously

Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
