Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured and pending federal work, they are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support ongoing projects at a major government installation in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Your new role
\n
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager and field team in the successful delivery of complex federal construction projects. Based primarily in Chambersburg, PA, you will play a key role in coordinating project activities, managing documentation, tracking schedules and costs, and serving as a liaison between the field, office, subcontractors, and client representatives.

Responsibilities will include:

- \n
- Managing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, document control, and project records
- Assisting with subcontractor administration, requisitions, change orders, and contract compliance
- Supporting cost tracking, forecasting, and pay application processes
- Monitoring project schedules and subcontractor performance
- Coordinating material procurement and delivery schedules
- Maintaining strong relationships with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Supporting multiple federal and government construction projects throughout the region

What you'll need to succeed
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of commercial construction experience, Federal construction experience strongly preferred
- Experience with USACE, military, or government projects is preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of Procore, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software
- Strong understanding of scheduling, change management, subcontractor coordination, and project controls
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to work onsite in Chambersburg, PA or willingness to commute to the area 5 days a week

Due to federal project requirements, candidates must be able to meet all government-mandated site access requirements, including U.S. citizenship verification and successful completion of a background investigation.
