Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician PM: Monroe, WisconsinOur customer in Monroe, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Maintenance Technicians to work full-time on PM shift. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems while supporting safe and efficient plant operations. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician PM:
- Oversee and troubleshoot operational, utility, and maintenance issues throughout the facility.
- Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on buildings and production equipment.
- Monitor equipment pressures and flow rates.
- Monitor boiler performance, water quality, and air quality.
- Maintain preventive maintenance (PM) logs and records.
- Perform general facility maintenance.
- Complete sanitary and structural welding as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery.
- Keep management informed of maintenance concerns and potential equipment issues.
- Maintain sanitation logs and ensure records are completed on time.
- Operate a forklift (forklift certification required).
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Maintenance Technician PM Requirements and Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of previous maintenance experience preferred, or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Desire to learn and develop new skills.
- Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative.
- Ability to pass forklift certification requirements.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach overhead with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must possess close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay for Maintenance Technician PM: Starting at $29/hour. Maintenance Technician PM Benefits:
