Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced food and beverage location, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You will help to identify and respond to security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols for a food and beverage environment.
Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, spills, damaged doors or gates, and other site issues that could affect normal business activity and/or security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
