Primary Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and maintain floors.
- Remove trash and replace liners.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and high-touch surfaces.
- Replenish soap, paper products, and supplies.
- Respond to spills and other custodial needs.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout assigned areas.
Qualifications:
- Previous professional janitorial/custodial experience required.
- School, government, military, commercial, or institutional cleaning experience preferred.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with custodial work.
- Must be able to meet applicable requirements for access to Fort Stewart and school facilities.
