You will be responsible for creating robust data models, writing advanced server-side programmatic logic, and aggressively tuning complex queries to ensure maximum data throughput and application stability

Key Responsibilities

- Database Programming: Design, write, and maintain robust, high-performance database objects like stored procedures, packages, functions, and database triggers.
- Business Logic Integration: Code complex business rules directly into the Oracle database layer using PL/SQL for security and processing speed.
- Performance Tuning: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize sluggish SQL statements using available tools
- Data Modeling: Design efficient relational database architectures including schemas, tables, primary/foreign key relationships, and indexes.
- ETL Pipeline Development: Build, manage, and scale Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) data integration workflows to ingest external application data
- Collaboration & Integration: Interface with backend application developers (e.g., Java engineering teams) to align front-end APIs with data tier structures.
- Migration & Maintenance: Author deployment scripts, execute data migration runs, and maintain comprehensive schema version control.

Core Technical Requirements
\n

- Oracle Database Expertise: Proficient experience with recent versions (e.g., Oracle 19c or 21c).
- Advanced PL/SQL Mastery: Proven capability utilizing collections, bulk operations, analytical functions, and ref cursors.
- Tuning Methodologies: Hands-on experience partitioning tables, managing optimizer statistics, and modifying query execution paths.
- IDE Tools: High familiarity with database interfaces, specifically Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, or PL/SQL Developer.
- Scripting Language : High familiarity and experience with UNIX scripting.
