Job Title: Project Manager Manufacturing (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Milwaukee, WI (Local candidates preferred)
Duration: 3-Month Contract with Potential for Extension or Full-Time Conversion
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing industry to join our client's team in the Milwaukee area. This is an initial 3-month contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a proven track record of managing cross-functional projects, driving process improvements, and delivering projects on time and within budget in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilitieses:
- Lead and manage multiple manufacturing-related projects from initiation through completion
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT.
- Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement appropriate mitigation plan
- Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and operational requirement
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization effort
- Manage project documentation and ensure adherence to organizational project management standard
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experien
- Experience managing projects within a manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experiencce
