Job DescriptionGateway Group is conducting a search for a Senior Financial Systems Consultant to support a rapidly growing Memphis-based organization. This is a consulting engagement focused on stabilizing, optimizing, and enhancing an extensively customized NetSuite environment that directly supports accounting, finance, operations, and reporting.This is not a project management role and it is not a pure software development position.We are seeking a professional who combines strong accounting and finance expertise with deep NetSuite administration, configuration, and financial systems experience.The ideal candidate can sit alongside accounting leadership, understand how transactions should flow through the business, and then configure NetSuite to support those processes accurately and efficiently.What You'll Be Doing

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex NetSuite workflows, configurations, and financial processes
• Partner with accounting, finance, operations, and executive leadership to identify root causes of reporting, billing, and transaction-processing issues
• Configure and optimize NetSuite workflows, saved searches, dashboards, custom records, forms, and financial reporting structures
• Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with existing NetSuite support resources and integration partners
• Evaluate current customizations and recommend improvements to improve efficiency, controls, and reporting accuracy
• Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and transaction flow validation
• Support Salesforce-to-NetSuite process alignment and integration troubleshooting
• Develop and document best practices, controls, and operating procedures
• Serve as the on-site liaison between accounting leadership and technical NetSuite resources

Required

• Strong accounting and finance background
• Experience supporting General Ledger, AP, AR, cash management, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Hands-on NetSuite administration and configuration experience
• Experience creating and maintaining:
  • Workflows
  • Saved Searches
  • Dashboards
  • Custom Forms
  • Custom Records
  • Financial Reports
• Ability to troubleshoot transaction flow issues and understand underlying accounting impacts
• Experience working directly with accounting and finance leadership
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

• CPA, CMA, or public accounting background
• Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Financial Systems Manager, or ERP Manager experience
• Experience supporting Salesforce integrations
• Experience working in real estate, property management, construction, homebuilding, or related industries
• Exposure to SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, or NetSuite backend architecture
• Experience supporting post-implementation NetSuite stabilization efforts
