We're looking for an experienced VDC Project Manager to lead BIM/VDC efforts for our Process & Hygienics division. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can manage people and project workloads while still having the technical depth to jump into Plant 3D, Navisworks, fabrication, and coordination issues when the team needs support.

\n
You’ll partner closely with our Director of BIM/VDC, project teams, field leadership, and fabrication shop to make sure our VDC work does what it is supposed to do: help projects build more efficiently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

\n
- \n
- Lead VDC/BIM/design efforts across assigned Process & Hygienic projects
- Manage project schedules, workloads, team capacity, and deliverables
- Develop and mentor Senior VDC Specialists and designers
- Keep BIM and coordination efforts aligned with field, prefab, and overall construction schedules
- Review drawings and help resolve complex Plant 3D, Navisworks, and fabrication issues
- Coordinate internal and third-party VDC/design resources as project demands change
- Work directly with our fabrication shop to improve the flow of information from design to pipe fabrication
- Support and improve Plant 3D databases, specs, templates, and libraries
- Partner with project management, field teams, engineering, preconstruction, and other VDC teams to continuously improve how we work
- Help drive the technology, processes, and standards that will support InServ’s future construction projects

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
\n
This role requires real technical experience. You should bring:
\n
- \n
- Strong knowledge of Process & Hygienic piping in the Life Sciences industry
- Strong proficiency with Autodesk Plant 3D
- Experience with Navisworks
- Experience working with BIM/VDC coordination in a construction environment
- Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud and Procore
- The ability to lead, develop, and organize technical teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with field and project teams, vendors, GCs, and construction management partners

LOCATION AND FLEXIBILITY
\n
We prefer candidates who are local to Central North Carolina or willing to relocate. A hybrid arrangement may be available for candidates who are within a reasonable distance and can be onsite when project and team needs require it.
