We are looking for experienced and reliable Security Professionals to join our team. Currently, we are hiring for Security Screeners. Screeners will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of a courthouse facility. This includes screening individuals entering the building for prohibited items, such as weapons and other potentially dangerous or prohibited items.

(Must provide training certificates with application)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with clientele and their facility staff members or benefactors.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to emergency and nonemergency situations.
  • Escort persons and assist facility personnel.
  • Provide a visible deterrence to crime, prohibited activities, or suspicious activities in
  • public and non-public which may include but is not limited to areas such as the main building, outlying buildings, grounds, parking areas, stairways, tunnels, mechanical

    areas, or populated areas.

  • Be alert for activities, which could result in injury to a person, damage or loss of property.
  • Comprehend and fulfill written or verbal instructions
  • Write accurate, clear, and legible reports
  • Enforce and abide by all regulations and guidelines mandated by the client and
  • Precision Private Security.

  • Perform other duties at the direction of or in the absence of the Security leader or Facility Security Representative
  • Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures.
  • Monitor alarm and security camera systems.
  • Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly.
  • Communicate with local law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services as the situation dictates.
  • Write comprehensive incident, injury, and event reports, outlining observations and
  • activities during shifts. Including monitoring fire and intrusion alarms and closed-circuit

    TV cameras and access control.

    Minimum Qualifications Required (Armed):

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Be a minimum of 18 years old
  • Valid state issued Driver’s License or ID
  • Valid BSIS issued Guard Card
  • Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force
  • 32 Hours of Security Guard Skills Training
  • First Aid, CRP and AED certified
  • Ability to pass a Background Check
  • Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Have a reliable means of transportation (public or private)
  • Possess the aptitude to stay level headed and respond quickly in stressful situations.
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous securityrelated work experience with working knowledge of basic security techniques preferred.
  • Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed.

    Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

    Initial Training (Before Applying)☐ Complete 8-hour BSIS-certified training course:

    ☐ Appropriate Use of Force (5 hours, must be in-person)

    ☐ Pay BSIS application fee (~$50–$60)

    First-Year Required Training (Post-Approval)☐ Complete additional 32 hours of BSIS-mandated training:☐ 16 hours within first 30 days:

    ☐ Complete 8-hour refresher course annually

    ☐ Must be at least 18 years old

    ☐ Cannot begin work until Guard Card is approved OR you have BSIS approval screen-print with photo ID
