IT Support Technician
Location: Nashville, TN (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $24.29/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Overview
We're seeking a IT Support Technician to provide onsite laptop and desktop support throughout the Nashville metro area. In this role, you'll travel to customer locations to perform hardware repairs, computer replacements, and basic troubleshooting while maintaining accurate service records.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to perform onsite computer repairs.
- Diagnose and repair laptops and desktop computers.
- Replace hardware components, including hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
- Perform complete computer swaps when necessary.
- Repair or replace PC peripherals and accessories.
- Update and close service tickets in real time using a company-issued mobile device.
- Deliver excellent customer service while following company procedures and service standards.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix repairs.
- Experience building or upgrading computers is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware, software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service assignments.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid auto insurance (daily travel throughout the Nashville metro area is required).
- Must be able to pass required background checks and client/government clearances, if applicable.
