One of our manufacturing clients is looking for Maintenance Technician at Madison, WI location for their facility

Shift - 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing, packaging, and facility equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime

  • Maintain and service conveyors, mixers, fillers, and automated production equipment

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety standards, GMP, and sanitation requirements

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals

  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and PM documentation

  • Identify equipment issues proactively and recommend solutions to improve performance and reliability

  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial electrical components, pneumatics, and hydraulics

  • Familiarity with food safety regulations such as GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs independently

  • Basic understanding of PLCs and automated systems is an asset

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support flexible shifts if required
