Maintenance Worker - North Fort Lauderdale Area - $18.50/hr
We are currently hiring a Maintenance Worker for the North Fort Lauderdale area. This position is ideal for someone with previous maintenance experience and hands-on knowledge of building repairs, equipment upkeep, and general property maintenance.
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Location: North Fort Lauderdale, FL
Job Description:
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for keeping machines, mechanical equipment, and building structures in good working condition. Duties may include plumbing, painting, flooring repair, basic electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and other general maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of the property and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Handle basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs
- Repair machines, equipment, and building structures as needed
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance experience required
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and managers
- Must be able to kneel, bend, stretch, walk, reach, and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly
