Ana Bird Legal Search is partnering with a nationally respected law firm seeking a Real Estate Associate with at least three years of substantive transactional real estate experience.
This opportunity offers sophisticated, high-value real estate work, meaningful responsibility, and close collaboration with experienced partners. Candidates may be based in Seattle, Washington, DC, Houston, or the San Francisco Bay Area. Exceptional US-based remote candidates may also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in complex commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing transactions.
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, easements, licenses, and financing documents.
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence, including title and survey review.
- Manage transaction closings and coordinate multiple workstreams.
- Identify legal and commercial risks and develop practical solutions.
- Collaborate directly with partners and clients throughout transactions.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of substantive transactional real estate experience.
- Experience representing buyers, sellers, developers, or comparable institutional clients.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, due diligence, and closing experience.
- Ability to independently manage matters and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, writing, and communication skills.
- J.D. or LL.M. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission or eligibility for admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
