Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of a multifamily residential community. This role is responsible for maintaining the property’s overall condition, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot and repair common household issues
- Prepare units for new residents
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Maintain curb appeal by ensuring the property is clean and well-kept
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours when required
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily or residential settings
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances and general carpentry
- Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Frequent walking, bending, climbing stairs, and standing
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including snow removal
