We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the development and delivery of complex multidisciplinary aerospace systems. In this role, you will work across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines to define requirements, guide system architecture, oversee verification and validation activities, and serve as a key technical interface with customers.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and delivery of complex multidisciplinary systems
- Develop and maintain system-level requirements and technical baselines
- Plan and oversee system verification and validation activities
- Generate and review test plans and test reports
- Conduct technical investigations and failure analysis activities
- Interface directly with customers and stakeholders
- Support business development, proposal activities, and new program pursuits
- Generate and document intellectual property where applicable
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering or related experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering fundamentals
- Experience with aerospace or defense-related systems
- Experience with requirements development, decomposition, validation, and verification
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Experience planning and executing test programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Experience interfacing directly with customers
- Familiarity with aerospace qualification and certification activities
- Experience supporting proposal and business development efforts
- Advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $135,000 - $180,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capability.
