Position Summary
As an Unarmed Security Professional, you will play a vital role in protecting clients, visitors, employees, and property. Working under the supervision of site leadership and management, you will implement security procedures, monitor activities, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents professionally and efficiently.
Your contributions help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Professional Standards
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code requirements.
- Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts.
- Treat clients, visitors, and team members with courtesy and professionalism.
Security Operations
- Enforce access control procedures and verify identification as required.
- Maintain accurate visitor and access records.
- Conduct routine patrols to identify and prevent unauthorized activities.
- Monitor the condition and functionality of security equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly.
Incident Response
- Respond quickly and appropriately to security concerns and emergencies.
- Follow established security and emergency protocols.
- Assist with investigations by providing accurate and timely information.
- Prepare detailed and factual incident reports.
Documentation
- Complete incident reports, shift reports, and other required documentation accurately.
- Provide truthful, complete, and timely information in all reports.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong report-writing and documentation abilities.
- Commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
Preferred
- Experience with:
