We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own critical VMware Cloud Foundation and Cisco UCS infrastructure within a complex enterprise environment. This hands-on position combines infrastructure engineering, virtualization, data center modernization, and technical leadership, with direct responsibility for platform reliability, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Engineer, deploy, and maintain enterprise VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and SDDC Manager.

\n

• Lead virtualization lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, compatibility validation, performance optimization, and remediation.

\n

• Design, configure, and support Cisco UCS X-Series infrastructure using Cisco Intersight, Fabric Interconnects, and associated networking and storage connectivity.

\n

• Maintain highly available infrastructure through effective resource allocation, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and operational monitoring.

\n

• Lead data center modernization initiatives, including infrastructure migrations, hardware refreshes, deployments, and decommissioning.

\n

• Diagnose and resolve complex Level 3/4 infrastructure issues spanning virtualization, compute, networking, SAN, storage, and hardware.

\n

• Strengthen infrastructure security through configuration standards, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and compliance practices.

\n

• Partner with infrastructure, security, application, and engineering teams to establish technical standards, document architecture, and execute strategic infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure engineering experience, including significant VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and VMware Cloud Foundation expertise.

\n

• Practical experience with VMware SDDC Manager, NSX, VCF Operations, and VCF Automation.

\n

• Strong hands-on Cisco UCS and Cisco Intersight experience supporting enterprise compute infrastructure.

\n

• Experience managing infrastructure migrations, lifecycle upgrades, capacity planning, and complex production troubleshooting.

\n

• Working knowledge of enterprise storage, SAN, networking, high availability, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security.

\n

• Ability to document technical solutions, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and support infrastructure operations in a hybrid work environment.
