As a Security Officer Access Control Driver Role in HOPE, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support daily site operations. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor access control points by verifying credentials, processing visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries, and documenting entry and exit activity according to site guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Support screening and checkpoint operations by monitoring gates, doors, and restricted areas, helping to control authorized access for employees, vendors, and transportation personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
