AI Solutions Developer
Job Description
Job DescriptionDescription:
About the Role
Genesis Credit Management is looking for a builder who sits at the intersection of software development and applied AI. This is not a traditional software-engineering seat. Rather than shipping a single product, you will design, build, and maintain the internal tools, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows that make a regulated financial-services operation run better — turning business problems into practical, working solutions and iterating quickly as needs evolve.
You will work closely with our Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams in a heavily regulated environment, where a good solution is not just one that works, but one that works within the rules.
Requirements:
What You’ll Do
• Design and build internal tools, dashboards, and automations that streamline operations across Collections, Compliance, Legal, and HR.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into existing workflows — document analysis, classification, intake triage, drafting assistance, and reporting.
• Build and maintain integrations against our collections platform and other internal and vendor systems via their APIs.
• Prototype rapidly, gather feedback from internal stakeholders, and turn promising prototypes into dependable, maintained tools.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure every tool respects data-security, privacy, and regulatory constraints.
• Document what you build so it is supportable and auditable.
Required Qualifications
• Practical coding proficiency (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) and comfort building end-to-end, not just writing snippets.
• SQL. Strong SQL abilities — querying, joining, and transforming data across relational databases.
• APIs. Demonstrated experience integrating third-party and platform APIs to move and transform real business data.
• Automation. Hands-on experience building automations and workflow tooling that replace manual processes.
• AI/LLM. Direct, hands-on experience with AI and large-language-model tools and APIs, and sound judgment about where AI genuinely helps versus where it does not.
• Cloud infrastructure. Experience managing infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or an equivalent cloud platform.
• CI/CD. Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and developer automations.
• Version control. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• The ability to translate a vague business need into a concrete, shippable tool — and to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Sound judgment around data handling, security, and confidentiality.
Nice to Have
• Experience in a regulated industry (financial services, ARM/collections, healthcare, insurance).
• Data-pipeline, ETL, or reporting-automation experience.
• Awareness of data-privacy and information-security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2).
Reporting & Structure
Reports to IT leadership within Genesis’s Technology function.
