Join us and build a career that matters!Position Overview:KODA Technologies is seeking a talented Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will lead or participate in analysis of future Missile Defense System (MDS) architectures and concepts, and develop modeling and simulation (M&S) tools to support MDS architecture assessment.This position will be 100% on-site at Redstone Arsenal. Key Responsibilities:Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance Assist with the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools utilizing the DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, assess analysis results, prepare analysis briefs/reports, and provide reviews of analysis products Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plansRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM Field with 7+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/projectSolid understanding of the current MDS architecture and future conceptsExperience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architecturesExperience with MATLABPreferred Qualifications:Active TS/SCI ClearanceExperience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architecturesExperience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future conceptsExperience with HPC Systems, Python, and Git is a plusExperience with BMD BenchmarkExperience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activitiesAbility to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologiesSpecialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signaturesMBSE experience related to missile defense system architecturesClearance: U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI are required.KODA Technologies Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, status as a parent, national origin, disability (physical or mental), family medical history or genetic information, political affiliation, military service, or other non-merit based factors.
