Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Aviata at Oakfield in Brandon, Florida. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas

Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving

Maintain the facility grounds

Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience

Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested

Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results
Requirements

Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent

Two (2) years' experience as a building trade helper, apprentice or equivalent preferred
-
You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
