Senior Project Manager - High Voltage Transmission & Distribution

I’m partnering with a rapidly growing utility construction contractor looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major high-voltage transmission and distribution projects across the U.S.
\n
This is a senior project leadership position with responsibility for the full lifecycle of complex power delivery projects, from preconstruction and planning through execution and closeout.
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Lead high-voltage transmission and distribution construction projects from preconstruction through completion
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost-to-complete, SOVs, billing and overall financial performance
- Oversee project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors
- Manage contracts, change orders, procurement and subcontractor agreements
- Partner closely with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure safe, efficient project execution
- Monitor labor productivity, material usage, project costs and schedule performance
- Lead client, subcontractor and internal project meetings
- Identify project risks and implement recovery plans where required
- Mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
- Maintain strong relationships with utilities, clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:
\n
- \n
- 7–10+ years of Project Management experience within high-voltage transmission, distribution or substation construction
- Strong understanding of utility construction and field operations
- Experience managing large project budgets, forecasting, contracts and change orders
- Proven ability to lead Superintendents, Project Managers and subcontractors
- Strong commercial and client-facing capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related discipline preferred
- PMP or similar professional certification is advantageous
- Willingness to travel nationally to support major projects
