Location: Eagle Mountain, UT (On-site)

Compensation: $37/hour, 24-month contract

Step into a hands-on role on a power innovation commissioning team, bringing automation systems online for major power and energy infrastructure projects like battery storage, substations, and generation assets.

What You'll Own:

- Support FAT/SAT activities, systemization, and punch-list closure during commissioning and startup

- Troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI issues in real time during energization

- Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and automation test protocols

- Validate startup/shutdown logic, alarm management, and SCADA integration

- Prepare turnover packages, redline validation, and commissioning documentation

- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Construction, Operations, and OEM teams through commissioning and handover

What You'll Bring:

- 8+ years of experience in industrial automation, power generation, energy infrastructure, or commissioning

- Hands-on experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems

- Experience with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

- Strong knowledge of automation communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, or IEC 61850

- Experience troubleshooting automation and control systems during commissioning and startup

- Familiarity with commissioning documentation, turnover packages, redline drawings, and punch-list management

Nice to Have:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field

- Experience with enterprise automation configuration systems such as AssetCentre or equivalent
