Maintenance Technician
Location: Redford, MI
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $27.00 – $31.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Opportunity
A growing manufacturing company in Redford, MI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its first-shift maintenance team. This is a hands-on role responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Perform welding repairs and light fabrication as needed
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
- Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment uptime
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Complete additional maintenance tasks as assigned
What You Bring
- 2–5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Electrical troubleshooting experience is required
- Welding experience is required
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience maintaining forging, stamping, or heavy press equipment is a plus
