Job DescriptionPosition Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quality Technician to support our manufacturing and quality assurance operations in Berea, KY. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality, maintaining compliance with company and industry standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, hands-on, and committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Record and maintain quality data, inspection reports, and documentation accurately
- Utilize measuring tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify product dimensions and tolerances
- Identify and document nonconforming materials, assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support internal audits, process validations, and quality system requirements
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
- Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Monitor and report quality metrics and trends to support continuous improvement initiatives
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berea, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.50/hr.
