RIV Technology Group LLC is seeking reliable, motivated Telecommunications Installation Technicians / Independent Contractors to join our growing field operations team.
Technicians will perform residential telecommunications installations and service work, including cable, internet, and related equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians who want consistent work, production-based earning potential, and the ability to grow with an expanding telecommunications operation.

***Requires A work truck that can hold a 28ft extension ladder.***
Technician Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation capable of carrying ladders, tools, and equipment.
- Clean, professional appearance and good customer-service/communication skills.
- Smartphone with reliable data service for receiving routes, communicating with dispatch, taking required photos, and completing work orders.
- Ability to pass required background screening and any client/vendor onboarding requirements.
- Telecommunications, cable, fiber, satellite, low-voltage, or similar installation experience preferred, but qualified candidates with strong mechanical/technical ability may be considered.
- Basic hand tools and installation equipment. You can specify during onboarding exactly which tools contractors must provide.
- Ability to safely use extension ladders and work at heights when required.
- Ability to lift approximately 50–75 lbs, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoors.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to run coax/Ethernet cable, install equipment, troubleshoot connectivity issues, read signal levels, and properly complete work orders after training/certification.
- Must be dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Must follow safety procedures, customer-property standards, and client quality requirements.
- Must successfully complete any required training/certification before being released into the field.
