With a reputation for quality, professionalism, and integrity, we are seeking a skilled and dependable Locksmith Technician to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, rekey, and service a wide range of mechanical and electronic locks and hardware
- Respond to emergency lockouts for homes, businesses, and vehicles
- Install and maintain access control systems and security hardware
- Provide excellent customer service on-site and over the phone
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and job status
- Work independently and safely in the field, often in time-sensitive situations
Qualifications:
- preferred (but we are willing to train the right candidate)
- Knowledge of commercial, residential, and electronic locking systems
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Must pass a background check
- Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills for job tracking and invoicing
Preferred But Not Required:
- Certification from ALOA or similar professional body
- Experience with access control systems or CCTV installation
- Familiarity with safes and automotive lock work
