Job DescriptionQuality Assurance Inspector: Dixon, Illinois Our customer in Dixon, Illinois, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to support product inspection and quality documentation in a manufacturing environment. We’re recruiting a Quality Assurance Inspector to inspect manufactured products, verify material properties, complete electronic inspection reports, and help ensure products meet customer and company quality requirements. Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Inspector: • Perform inspections using visual methods, hand tools, and surface plate inspection techniques. • Inspect manufactured products for uniformity and accurately record inspection results. • Verify the physical and chemical properties of materials used in the manufacturing process. • Create and maintain First Article Inspection Reports electronically. • Create and maintain in-process inspection reports electronically. • Manage customer portals for product-quality access and release requirements. • Complete rejection reports for nonconforming materials. • Support required training and documentation processes. Quality Assurance Inspector Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience required in aerospace industry.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Experience performing inspections with hand tools and surface plate inspection techniques.
• Ability to pass self-release training and obtain AS13001 certification.
• Ability to pass a Jaeger No. 1 eye examination, corrected or uncorrected, in accordance with applicable requirements including MIL-STD-1595, SNT-TC-1, MIL-STD-410, and NAS 410.
• Ability to read and interpret customer documents and manufacturing drawings.
• Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, technical-learning, and process-improvement skills.
• Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and apply basic geometry concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete electronic quality records.

Type: 1st Shift, Full-time Schedule: Monday through Friday. Flexible 8-hour start times on 1st shift: 4:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., 5:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., or 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Apply now!
