Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of tires on commercial vehicles including trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. You will ensure safety and performance standards are met while providing excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair commercial truck and trailer tires (including tubeless, tube, and retread tires)
Mount, dismount, balance, rotate tires using appropriate tools and machines
Perform tire patching, flat repairs, and valve replacements
Operate service vehicles for off-site tire service calls
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with inventory management and stocking of tires and supplies
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Familiarity with tire machines, balancing tools, and air impact tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or after-hours as needed
Preferred Skills:
Experience with mobile/on-site service calls
Basic knowledge of commercial truck tires or heavy-duty equipment
Bilingual
