We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a global electronic trading technology team responsible for building and maintaining a high-performance platform supporting interest rate products. The environment is fast-paced, business-driven, and focused on delivering scalable and low-latency solutions. This role involves close interaction with Front Office stakeholders and technical teams in a mission-critical trading ecosystem.

Role:

  • Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, multi-threaded backend applications
  • \n

  • Maintain and improve platform stability, scalability, and low-latency messaging capabilities
  • \n

  • Work closely with business users to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions
  • \n

  • Provide support for production activities and ensure the reliability of the trading platform
  • \n

  • Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and continuous platform improvements
  • \n

  • Participate in code reviews and promote best practices across the development team
  • \n

Tech Stack:

    \n
  • Core Java (modern versions), multithreading, performance optimization
  • \n

  • Exposure to C++ or other performance-oriented languages
  • \n

  • Client-side technologies such as C# or similar
  • \n

  • Messaging and communication protocols, including TCP-based systems
  • \n

  • Nice to have: experience with electronic trading platforms or vendor solutions
  • \n

Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend Java development within complex enterprise environments
  • \n

  • Strong expertise in multi-threaded and low-latency systems
  • \n

  • Previous exposure to electronic trading or real-time financial systems
  • \n

  • Good understanding of fixed income or similar capital markets workflows
  • \n

  • Ability to collaborate with Front Office users and work in a demanding, time-sensitive environment
