Job Description

Lone Star Facility Management LLC, a Texas-based provider of residential and commercial property maintenance and repair services, is expanding into Ohio and seeking a skilled, reliable Handyman Technician (1099). Reporting to an Operations Manager, you will service commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties within a local service area and nearby cities. Assignments and priorities are managed through central dispatch, and the role offers an advancement path to Lead Technician.

Responsibilities

Perform general repairs and maintenance for commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties.
Complete carpentry, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, drywall repairs, flooring installation, and painting.
Prepare accurate service estimates for repair and replacement projects.
Manage daily assignments and priorities through central dispatch scheduling.
Communicate professionally with customers to assess needs and provide effective solutions.
Conduct quality inspections and ensure completed work meets company standards.
Perform preventive maintenance and identify additional repair needs.
Travel throughout a local service area and nearby cities to complete assigned work.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in multi-trade property maintenance.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience with carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, drywall repair, and flooring installation.
Cost estimating experience.
Strong customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills.
