Tamarac Center is looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team for a weekend-only position.

Schedule

Saturday & Sunday | 8-hour shifts

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, hands-on, and able to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning facility for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance

• Complete basic repairs and preventative maintenance

• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and other maintenance needs as qualified

• Respond to maintenance requests and address issues promptly

• Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors

• Inspect equipment and facility areas for needed repairs

• Maintain clean and organized work areas

• Follow all facility safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred

• Skilled nursing, healthcare, or commercial facility experience is a plus

• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repairs

• Reliable and dependable

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to safely perform physical tasks associated with the position
