Job Description

Job DescriptionReady to own a route and solve real-world pest challenges?

If you thrive on independence, hands-on problem-solving, and great customer conversations, this role serving the Buffalo area is for you. You’ll complete company-paid training, then manage a service route using safe, effective methods—and keep your company vehicle parked overnight at your home for next-day readiness.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose infestations and determine the appropriate treatment to eliminate the specific pest.
  • Calibrate, apply, and document treatments strictly following label instructions and safety procedures.
  • Operate and maintain route-assigned tools and equipment.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations; suggest additional services that support a comprehensive pest management program.
  • Call customers to confirm scheduled services before arrival.
  • Coordinate with office staff and follow an optimized route to ensure safe, on-time visits across your assigned territory.
  • Capture accurate service notes using both paper and a company-issued handheld/cellphone application for speed and accuracy.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $22–$26 per hour depending on experience and licensing, plus overtime.
  • Company vehicle with gas card upon completion of training.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.

Must-Haves

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Problem-solving mindset to select the most efficient and effective solutions for each customer.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Safely use ladders within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Enter and work in crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and on rooftops; able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Wear PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator when required.
  • Comfort working in varying weather conditions.

Technology & Documentation

  • Leverage a mobile device to complete all service documentation quickly and accurately.
  • Prepare, input, and maintain both written and electronic records at the conclusion of each service.

Logistics

  • You must have overnight parking space at your residence to keep a company vehicle.
