Job title: Parks Maintenance Technician

Location: Merritt Island, FL

Pay rate: $17.52/hour

Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications

3+ months professional experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, custodial, or building maintenance

Valid Florida Driver’s License

Background check & drug screening

Mechanical or equipment repair experience preferred

Ability to safely use hand and power tools

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Ability to perform heavy physical labor

Responsibilities

Mow, edge, trim, and maintain park grounds and fields

Plant, water, and care for trees and shrubs

Clean restrooms, picnic areas, and facilities

Remove trash and sweep walkways

Operate equipment (mowers, tractors, utility carts, loaders)

Assist with light carpentry, painting, plumbing, and repairs

Install signs, sidewalks, curbs, and barricades

Load/unload tools and materials
