The Residential Maintenance Technician will play a key role in upkeeping multi-family apartment properties within a small team environment. This position focuses on ensuring all maintenance operations, from routine inspections to emergency repairs, are efficiently handled on-site with adherence to safety standards and the use of specialized maintenance management software. The role requires an on-call availability for emergencies and supports a maintenance system designed to keep properties safe and functional.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of residential units and common areas
- Perform repair work for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural issues
- Carry out preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and resolve technical problems
- Install new equipment and fixtures as needed
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Manage and organize tools and maintenance inventory
