Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite / 3 Days Remote)
Employment Type: Contract – 12 Months
Anticipated Start Date: November 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST (40 Hours/Week)

We are seeking an experienced SASE Implementation Engineer – Specialist III to lead the deployment and implementation of Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access for a large, complex enterprise environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on network security professional to play a critical role in modernizing security infrastructure, enhancing secure remote connectivity, and delivering enterprise-wide network security solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in Prisma Access, Strata Cloud Manager, PAN-OS, Panorama, and GlobalProtect, along with proven experience leading complex network security implementations from planning through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access, including architecture, configuration, integration, migration, testing, and deployment.

• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Prisma Access through Strata Cloud Manager.

• Support secure connectivity for mobile users, remote networks, and service connections.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

• Validate network security architecture and ensure successful integration with existing enterprise environments.

• Lead migration planning, testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production readiness activities.

• Identify and resolve technical issues, manage escalations, and document engineering decisions.

• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, configuration standards, implementation procedures, and operational documentation.

• Track implementation milestones, technical dependencies, risks, and project status.

• Support automation and integration using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Provide technical guidance, training, knowledge transfer, and operational handoff to internal teams.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience serving as a technical lead or primary implementation engineer on at least one completed production SASE or enterprise network security implementation.

• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access using Strata Cloud Manager.

• Strong technical knowledge of PAN-OS, Panorama, and GlobalProtect.

• Experience with enterprise routing, VPN technologies, authentication, security policies, logging, monitoring, and high-availability network environments.

• Demonstrated experience managing the full implementation lifecycle, including architecture validation, migration planning, testing, production cutover, and operational transition.

• Experience using APIs, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git, or comparable tools for automation and integration.

• Ability to coordinate technical schedules, dependencies, risks, change control, and stakeholder communications.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Experience developing technical documentation, operational runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Technical Environment

Candidates should have experience with several of the following technologies:

• Network Security: Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access, PAN-OS, Panorama, GlobalProtect

• Cloud Security Management: Strata Cloud Manager, Prisma Access ADEM

• Networking & Diagnostics: VPN, routing tools, Wireshark

• Security Monitoring: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel

• Automation & Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Git

• Project & Collaboration Tools: ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint

Additional Qualifications

• Current Palo Alto Networks, networking, cybersecurity, or project management certifications are a plus but are not generally required.

• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site enterprise environments.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.

• Strong organizational skills and experience communicating technical information to leadership and stakeholders.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid: Minimum of 2 days onsite per week in New York, NY, with remaining days remote.

• Contract Duration: 12 months.

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

• Occasional travel to additional project locations may be required.

• Background screening and security access approvals may be required.
