I'm working on a great opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer to join a large, established organization in the energy sector in Raleigh, NC!
\n
\n
This position offers the opportunity to work in a critical infrastructure environment, supporting the design, implementation, security, and ongoing reliability of enterprise network and data center systems.
\n
\n
What You'll Be Doing:
\n
- \n
- Design, configure, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
- Maintain and support Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, circuits, and network management systems.
- Support data center operations, network security, and infrastructure improvements.
- Partner with internal IT teams, NOC personnel, vendors, and telecom providers to resolve technical issues.
- Participate in network projects, testing, implementations, and technical documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve network performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For:
\n
✔ 5+ years of hands-on network engineering and data center experience.
\n
✔ Strong Cisco routing and switching expertise (required).
\n
✔ Palo Alto firewall and/or Arista switching experience (preferred).
\n
✔ Solid understanding of network security, troubleshooting, and enterprise infrastructure.
\n
✔ A self-directed engineer who can take ownership of projects and collaborate across technical teams.
\n
\n
An Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required; a combination of relevant training and experience may be considered.
\n
\n
Location: Raleigh, NC
\n
Duration: 12-month contract
\n
\n
