We are looking for a Project Manager to support telecom field services and operations during a period of elevated project demand. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, lead infrastructure initiatives with minimal ramp-up, and serve as a dependable point of contact for clients and internal teams. The role centers on driving projects from kickoff through completion while keeping schedules, budgets, documentation, and stakeholder communication on track.
Responsibilities:
• Lead telecom and infrastructure initiatives from initiation through closeout, including cabling, site work, and installation-related projects.
• Build and manage project plans that define milestones, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and resource needs.
• Act as the primary client-facing contact by sharing status updates, addressing concerns, and guiding scope discussions to maintain alignment.
• Coordinate technicians, vendors, procurement partners, and internal stakeholders to keep work progressing efficiently.
• Monitor project financials and assist with invoicing activities to support accurate billing and cost tracking.
• Maintain organized project records and reporting within Fieldpoint, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Identify project risks, resolve issues proactively, and adjust priorities as needed to meet operational demands.
• Support workload continuity for the Field Services and Operations team during periods of increased activity and staff absences.
• At least 3 years of project coordination/management experience leading complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated background in telecom, infrastructure, construction, or closely related project delivery work is preferred.
• Ability to independently manage projects end-to-end with limited onboarding or supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and moving parts effectively.
• Experience working with project management methodologies and tools, including Agile or Scrum practices where applicable.
• Proficiency with Jira, Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and project documentation systems.
• PMP certification is valued and may strengthen candidacy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
