Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records for commercial properties
- Process tenant billing and CAM reconciliations
- Perform lease administration tasks including abstracting leases and ensuring billing accuracy per lease terms
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for the property portfolio
- Coordinate with property manager tenants matters- utilities accounts set up
- Perform credit card reconciliations
- Monitor bank accounts, escrow accounts, and security deposits
- Reconciling intercompany AR/AP
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field- preferred
- 2-5 years’ experience working in Commercial Real Estate Accounting (CAM reconciliations, lease abstractions, and tenant billing) a MUST
- Proficiency in property management and accounting software (Yardi, MRI, or similar)- highly preferred
- Solid understanding of GAAP and real estate accounting principles
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
