HVAC Maintenance Technician – Austin, TX 78757
Immediate Opening | $20–$25/hr+ | Paid Weekly | Monday–Friday | No On-Call
We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing property management team at an apartment community located in the Austin, TX 78757 area.
This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled, dependable technician who takes pride in keeping apartment communities safe, functional, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical repairs, drywall, painting, and light carpentry.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, fixtures, and other maintenance issues.
- Complete work orders and apartment turns efficiently and on schedule.
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Assist with groundskeeping and general property upkeep as needed.
- Work closely with the property management team and other maintenance staff to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements
- HVAC Certification required; EPA Certification is a PLUS.
- At least 1 year of residential or apartment maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Must have your own basic hand tools and power drill and bring them to the property daily.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance.
- Ability to work independently and handle a physically demanding workload.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Professional attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
