Purpose
The EUC and Collaboration Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, and management of PANTHERx’s end-user technology ecosystem, including endpoint management, application delivery, conferencing technology, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). This role owns the technical strategy and execution for Windows, macOS, and mobile device management, ensuring PANTHERx teammates have secure, reliable, and efficient access to the tools they need. This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities for growth into leadership as the EUC function matures.
Responsibilities
Endpoint Management
- Owns the technical strategy and day-to-day management of Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, application deployment, compliance policies, conditional access, and Windows Autopilot.
- Evaluates, implements, and manages Apple device management solutions (Jamf, Kandji, or equivalent) to support the growing macOS and iOS footprint across PANTHERx.
- Manages Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including user/group management, group policy, hybrid identity synchronization, and conditional access policies.
- Partners with the infrastructure team to deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, owning the user experience, profile management (FSLogix), and application delivery within AVD.
Collaboration & Application Delivery
- Owns the technical implementation and lifecycle management of conferencing and collaboration technology, including Microsoft Teams Rooms configuration, firmware updates, troubleshooting, and AV integration.
- Designs and implements application packaging and deployment workflows, making applications available for deployment by helpdesk and application support teams.
- Leverages IT service management and ticketing platforms to log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests, and contributes to knowledge base and runbook development for support teams.
Tooling, Monitoring & Standards
- Utilizes monitoring, alerting, and observability tools to proactively identify endpoint and collaboration system issues, track compliance dashboards, and surface adoption metrics.
- Supports pipeline and work tracking platforms used by the IT team for change management, project tracking, and continuous improvement workflows.
- Evaluates and recommends EUC tooling, platforms, and processes; identifies gaps in the current stack and brings forward solutions for approval.
- Develops and maintains documentation for EUC processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborates with the security team to ensure endpoint compliance, patch management, and adherence to HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in end-user computing, endpoint management, or desktop engineering.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, application deployment, compliance policies, and Windows Autopilot.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including user/group management, group policy, and hybrid identity.
- Experience with macOS and iOS device management (Jamf, Kandji, or equivalent Apple MDM platforms).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including user profile management (FSLogix) and application delivery.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, AV systems, and conferencing technology lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with IT service management platforms, monitoring and observability tools, and work tracking or pipeline tools used in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms, including application compatibility and network connectivity issues.
- Strong documentation and process development skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (MD-102 Endpoint Administrator, MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator, or equivalent).
- Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries (HIPAA, SOC 2, or equivalent compliance frameworks).
- Familiarity with PowerShell, scripting, or automation for endpoint management tasks.
- Knowledge of application packaging and deployment workflows (MSIX, App-V, or equivalent).
- Background in identity and access management (IAM), including conditional access and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Prior experience with enterprise helpdesk, monitoring/alerting, or DevOps tooling in an IT environment.
- Leadership or mentorship experience, with interest in growing into a senior or management role.
Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid capacity, in office at least three days a week, with some travel to PANTHERx sites (Pittsburgh, Memphis) and colocation facilities as needed. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and communications via MS Teams.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as reading and working with various forms of data on a screen.
