Make-Ready Technician (with On-Call)

Peterson Properties, Inc. is seeking a full-time, make-ready technician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to join our team!

A technician in this position would be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs in both occupied and vacant units including but not limited to:

• Make vacant units rent ready by completing general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Complete work orders for current residents while providing exceptional customer service
• Assist with maintaining grounds, including pools
• Assist with snow remove and application of ice melt
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation - bonus applies
• Assist with quarterly preventative maintenance checks and repairs
• Perform light checks for building exteriors, hallways, and common areas
• Other related tasks as needed at surrounding properties owned/managed by Peterson Properties, Inc.

Requirements:

• Must have verifiable experience in a similar maintenance position for multi-family housing. Compensation based on experience.
• CPO preferred, but not required
• Must have your own basic tools including a smartphone or IPAD
• Physical demands include constant walking, standing, climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis.
• Time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work
• Successfully complete background and drug screening
• Ability to work an “On Call” rotation – Additional BONUS Pay applies
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
