TST Network Corp. is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on, in-office technical Project Manager position for someone who understands both project management and the technology being installed in the field.

This person will work closely with customers, technicians, vendors, and internal staff to ensure projects are completed successfully, on schedule, and to TST's standards.

This is not a purely administrative Project Management position. Technical knowledge and field experience are essential to being successful in this role.

The Three Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Review scopes of work and project requirements
  • Identify potential issues and address them before they affect the project
  • Manage change orders and punch-list items
  • Maintain regular communication with customers and project stakeholders
  • Collect and review completion photos, service reports, and required documentation
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate
  • Confirm projects are ready for final invoicing and closeout

2. Technical Support

  • Provide over-the-phone technical support to field technicians
  • Troubleshoot CCTV cameras, NVRs, VMS, and related equipment
  • Have strong working knowledge of ExacqVision
  • Have strong working knowledge of Axis cameras and systems
  • Troubleshoot IP camera and network/connectivity issues
  • Help technicians determine whether an issue is related to hardware, configuration, networking, or installation
  • Walk technicians through troubleshooting and corrective procedures remotely
  • Assist with system configuration and troubleshooting when needed
  • Review technical issues and determine when an issue requires escalation or an on-site visit

3. Field Support

  • Travel to customer locations when required by the project
  • Assist with complex installations and technical troubleshooting
  • Perform site walks and evaluate project requirements when needed
  • Work directly with field technicians to resolve installation and technical issues
  • Communicate directly with customers when technical or project-related issues arise
  • Provide on-site support when a project requires additional technical or management assistance

Required Qualifications

These requirements are crucial to being successful in this position:

  • 5+ years of experience in security technology, low voltage, CCTV, field services, or a related industry
  • Hands-on ExacqVision experience
  • Hands-on Axis camera experience
  • Strong experience troubleshooting surveillance systems
  • Strong understanding of IP cameras and networking
  • Experience providing technical support to field technicians remotely
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness and ability to travel when project requirements dictate

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Axis certification
  • ExacqVision certification or formal training
  • Access Control experience
  • EAS experience
  • Structured Cabling experience
  • POS and technology experience
  • Experience managing multi-location and/or multi-state projects
  • Experience working with service ticketing and dispatch systems
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience working with field technicians and installation teams
  • Experience with customer-facing technical support

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who can manage a project and understand the technology behind it.

You should be comfortable talking to a customer in the morning, coordinating technicians and equipment during the day, and helping a technician troubleshoot an Axis camera or ExacqVision issue over the phone when needed.

The successful candidate will be someone who is organized, technically strong, responsive, dependable, and comfortable working in both an office and field environment.

If you have the technical knowledge, field experience, and project management skills to take ownership of a project from start to finish, we'd like to hear from you.
