About the role

We are a private residential property management company seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of approximately 25 high-end estate homes in the Paradise Valley area. These are large, well-appointed properties - typically 1-2 acres - and our clients expect the highest standard of care.

This is not a heavy-trade position. Think of it as a maintenance coordinator and first responder: you'll walk properties, identify issues, perform basic repairs yourself, and organize licensed professionals (electricians, plumbers, tile contractors, etc.) for anything beyond your scope. Presentation, communication, and good judgment matter as much as technical skill.

What you'll do

• Walk property perimeters and interiors to identify maintenance needs and areas for improvement
• Perform basic repairs: painting, caulking/grout touch-ups, cracked pavement patching, fixture swaps, air filter changes, light bulb and lighting replacements, and general cosmetic fixes
• Identify issues outside your scope (e.g. plumbing, electrical, tile work) and coordinate with qualified vendors
• Communicate clearly with vendors, scheduling and following up to ensure work is completed correctly
• Keep the team informed on property status, upcoming needs, and completed work
• Travel between properties in Paradise Valley using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

Must-have qualities

• Sharp attention to detail - you notice what others walk past
• Excellent communication skills - confident, professional, and clear with clients and vendors
• Open to learning and flexible in your approach - not set in your ways

Requirements

• 2+ years of residential maintenance experience
• Clean background check and clean driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle for travel between properties
• Polished, professional appearance and demeanor
• Comfortable working independently across multiple properties

Compensation & perks

• $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience
• Work across beautiful estate properties in Paradise Valley
