We’re hiring a Mechanical Estimator to support large-scale data center construction projects. This role will focus on estimating mechanical scopes for data center builds.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical scopes (HVAC, piping, etc.)
- Analyze drawings, specs, and bid documents
- Develop takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Identify risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities
- Support bid submissions and client presentations
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of estimating experience in construction
- Data center or mission-critical project experience required
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installation methods
- Proficiency in estimating software and takeoff tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specs
